No go on the boot yet. I will fool with it some more...been having the same problem last couple days with different mb's, memory and cpu's. Unsure if I am killing hardware or something else. Only thing I have not tried is a different psu.

1.74 - I have noticed it takes a lot more vcore/vtt for me to boot into XP than most others...could that be a sign of a psu losing it's mojo? I just find it odd that I am having the same problem with other mb's and chips as well.

nice you have good sticks, thats not too much volts for ram if its doing the same thing with different chips and boards it must to be the chips or boards psu and ram are the only possibilities really.

you are using to much vcore for the 980x though stay under 1.5v unless you start tossing icecubes in

I am so stupid! It has been the psu all along...plugged in the Antec and she took off like a rocket. Here is a follow up run to show the first wasnt a fluke.

Me so horny that 980X lives!

vcore? vtt? what is your 12v rail measurement? mine is steady @ 12.10 i love my psu....

anyways rams could be culprit these hypers are super sensitive...

also the removable heatsinks on the dominators....are ok..but the thermal pad they use is too thin...i had to use my own thermalpads so they have good contact....

Same problems with different ram tho Honda. I have not taken any measurements on the psu...it is the same PC Power & Cooling 1200 I have had forever.

980x with 1.528v is too much for air/water .....instant degrade...

during bootup....psu isn't stressed much....with aircooling settings..

Looks like Rick is rolling hot and it will take a 980X to beat his 980X in SPI. I think I might can squeeze some PiFast passt him (had a low 18.6ties) but no fucking way I can do better than his 980X. Pretty sad!
