Maybe, but they aren't the only one asking so much. I didn't pay attention to i7 965 launch. Was it the same?

I think so but they also released the 940 and 920 soon after so a lot of us poor bastards waited ..... this will force the hand of enthusiast to suck it up or wait a significant amount of time until an affordable 32nm comes out

I could rough it with a 6Ghz quad 32nm ..... LOL

All kinds of bad news today. 980x is on backorder at Tiger Indirect and my LN2 supplier backed out on me. Back to the grind. I'll just have to take another LN2 route. Not as cheap though.

Shoot, I'm having no luck today either. Called the only other two ln2 suppliers in the area to get something cheaper than $1.60L, but neither do transfers. :( Looks like I'm stuck getting raped by the same place.

My brother was getting me a 230l Dewar through his work place. Its a big machine shop. He had it all set up through the purchasing agent and from what he tells me the plant manager put the stop on it. He was afraid of the liability of it leaving the plant.

Looks like i'l be paying the same as you Chuch. 160l tank for 160. I was going to get that 230l for 75 bucks. I am sooo bummmed.

Sorry for the total noob questions here but looking at Ln2 possibly in the future so trying to learn waht I can...

So the question is how far does a liter get you so I can kind of form a bugdet of what type of cost's I will have on top of buying all the supporting hardware such as pots and dawars and all

so if you have a 35 liter Dewar how many hours of benching does that get you .... ?

It would be around 56 bucks to fill

That plant manager's a puss... All he has to do is have you sign a waver or invoice or anything declaring that it is your responsibility...

I agree Face. I had my brother ask him if i could just leave the 230L Dewar on the premisis and fill up a 50L from it to take home and he said no. Douchebag. I'd rather not get into it with him. I dont want to cause my brother any greif on his job. I'll just open my own business account at Airgas and suck it up.
