Does it work by itself? Do the cards have the same bios? Which drivers have you tried? Why are they called horse shoes? Are there any horse socks? |

Its wierd, set both GPU fans to 100% and GPU1 will scale up in fan speeds in the os while GPU2 sits like a bump on the log. At shutdown, GPU2 jumps to 100% just before shutoff. Drivers: Latest from ATI. 10-6 Tried CCC alone and then tried Afterburner latest vanilla edition to no avail. Feeling like dumping GPU2 right about now. Update, opened GPU-z to find out bios revision and GPU2 fan speeds increased. Uknown if it'll stay that way in 3D applications????? |

Dam supes ... That is a sick grinder you have there ... freakin more hard core than my bencher ............... Might as well say effit and grab some SSD ... don't want those mechanicals slowing you down Quad Fire Driver support is a joke I would dump one of them if it were me ... If not : 10.3 will be your best shot IMO if you stay with two If not what about the OEM crapware control software that came with them ? what's the flavor |

I like the way Witchie is going with this.... try installing precision or abe and link the cards, then adjust fan speed to see what happens. Worth a shot. If that doesn't work, riva or ati tray tools should be able to lock the cards in 3d performance mode... that may do the trick as well... |

Why do you need two 5970's to play UT3? :taunt: |

MSI cards, I'll try going backwards on the drivers but I seem to recall the same shit happening there as well. Hoped having these on the shelf long enough would enable some x-fire game testing. Seems manufacturers forget how to build things that just work! |
