Well, from hearsay its supposed to be a bit better bclker than the RE3 but you know how hearsay is. I do like the newer pci-e layout tho.

If I was going x58 I think I would hold out for the Giga OC version

Just to change it up a bit

R3E is the safe bet though, Buy I historically try new things ....

Wich is ok, I wasnt that enthusiastic about dropping 500 beans on a board right away, so waiting isnt so bad :D

i'd wait for the x58a-oc giga if it drops around $280 it's a win win.

I would wait and get a second hand R3E for like $200 when the Black edition screws everyones resale values.
