remount the heatsink...our friends from asus......they're nb is @ 35C ...ln2 gas + fan ..directed towards the nb...settles @ 35C

6.3ghz benchable....just awesome seeing hpnotiq doin it extreme

Mine hangs out in the mid 30's right now with a pretty heavy overvolt just using the Swiftech waterblock. It's not that the NB is hot. It's that it's not cold.

Already gone the conservative route. Now it's time for the non-conservative route.

put that thing at ln2... just use aftermarket vrm and sb coolers



my nwe one with 1.78 vnb and tight memory divider did this

Looks pretty imaginative and dyi-ish but it looks awesome ! If it worked, that's what counts.

Might want to upgrade to a SATA HDD or a SDD. PATA's slow you down

Best way with REX and sub zero NB is to remove that whole POS assembly, and individually sink the mosfets around the socket and bolt NB cooler/water chiller block/whatever directly to the NB. You'll get a wider variation of mounting holes (pattern). The stock assembly sucks and has design flaws when the board flexes it shorts on some smd caps + its horribly inefficient . Crusty has got it goin on.

thanks for info i just got the board..and an e8600/e8500 so your tips gonna help alot..heatsinks are way cheap
