How about the 150,200 + ... Did you post that....I see that is on the Bot...Usually around 6.2 on dice but it's your sweet spot..... Shit, you go from where is it to I have it... |
The 3D06 is a good run...Fast but in the range..You have a sweet spot...Good card...I would post the 150,000 too...

This is where I have problems with the Bot..They won't score you on the 06 run because you once had a higher score with a totally different card...or cards
That is a great score with the 1 5970 at 5.75.. Lets have our own OCA Bots.....I like your 03 bug and would like to see it posted...The 150,000 is worth 50 points.... Nice 05 run....I could be wrong about them not scoring you if you had a higher score but they wouldn't score me unless I beat 2 4870x2's..Not really sure anymore how things work... |

NO, that is just a good run..I did 333,000 at 4.6 with 1 5870..That is a keeper...Unless you have a better score before with 1 card..
either way it is in the range!!!!!!!!! Just a good run... It looks like the 03 is the only bug |

Cant verify on 5970 of course but I know on my other cards... you can run much higher clocks in AM3/01 than 06/Vantage.

Dependso n your Temps, how are your VDDCs holding up? Looks liek 1.2-1.25 is pretty normal although these guys are saying 1.34v for near 1000 MHz
As long as VDDC temps are good (along with the obvious core temps) I dont think I would go much past 1.3 on stock cooling. (I almost kept a straight face the whole time I typed that :) ) I was pushing 1.45 on the 4890 with the stock cooler, would push it higher, but I think that is the max that the card can actually push. Saw no benefit running 1.46+ :) |

Here is a little group of my results with the 5970 Kal. Most of the time I was at or around 1280 to 1315mv for these clocks. Hope this gives you a reference point or two.

Time is not on my side now but thought i would try 1 card at a time to see if any issues were there...Using the 9.12 drivers and win 7 64. The HIS card is strange. The AB doesn't work the fan. You have to do that in CCC...Also can't seem to clock the card over 837/1143...

Vantage won't even make it through the first test without atleast 1250 GPU voltage @815/1130....This is run in win 7 64 with 9.12 drivers

This HIS is a piece of chit...I can't believe the one I paid for is a brick...It's not just the drivers...The fan only does about 50% on full and it atifacts at stock speeds....Not only that but I am having all kinds of problems I know are not driver related..I used it in Vista and win 7 32 and 64 and it goes appe shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't want another one....:scared::scared::scared::scared: I am going to write newegg and tell them to refund or change brands....Soups had a bad one now me...... Also the fan sounds like a bad harddrive crunching.......I read somewhere if the fan is noisey push it in...I tryed that..Can you imagine paying almost 700 in coin and having to PUSH THE FAN IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbdown: Back to work..Next up the XFX.... How are you running it right now?
CCC? Afterburner? Riva? Specifically from boot into os till benchmark run. |
I ran the 9.12 drivers..CCC and AB for benching....The card was OK but buggy the first day....I did a few benches....
I am on call so not much constant time until after Christmas.... The second day is when the fan started crunching...Also artifacting at stock speeds.. On the second day i couldn't start the PC in win 7....Some driver issues but also some hardware stuff to....I should have time to switch out the cards on Sat.... There is no way my little benching should have hurt it....I could never get it to run over like 825/1130.... I really should just have waited until after Christmas because of the constant on call stuff but you know how it is...I usually work normal hours except for Christmas and Easter.... The fan was never right..It comes up slow but stops at 58% even on 100% and raises heck.....AB won't work the fan..You can only get it to come up to 58% with CCC 3D06 will not run...The error I mentioned..That could be driver related..Not sure.... I will RMA it and run the other as soon as i can get it in....I need sometime to spend with it..Not 1 hour here 1 there....... |
RMA is prolly a good idea. Hard to blame all things on drivers.
