Default HPET?

I was reading a thread at xs and it made me scratch my head. Has anyone tried disabling HPET in bios? I'm interested in seeing if it helps? Anybody up to do some comparitive testing or have you already?

It is probably in the power saving section of the board. Far far away from overclocking features.

Well crap, I have looked around on a few review sites and can't find any with the Main and Advanced tabs open. It will most likely be in one of those two spots.

Option to enable it would only be useful in Vista/7/2K8 OSes as XP/2K3 and earlier do not support it.

EDIT: IT does not show up on the RIIIF BIOS either
