Thumbs up nVidia lands Tegra deal with Nintendo on nextgen DS

Today we find out that nVidia has made another large design win for the Tegra SoC(system on chip) design which is currently found in devices such as the ZuneHD and numerous up coming phones. This chip will bring real 3D acceleration to phones and enable real Open GL instead of Open GL ES which is a huge hunk of junk in comparison to what can be run on real Open GL on a real GPU. For those of you that do not know, Tegra is a combination of Nvidia GPU technology with ARM's Cortex processors combined with some system memory to enable the ability for high definition playback and video capturing. Just to give you an idea, the Zune HD is merely the tip of the iceberg.
