I shot the guy a question on vacuum.... he hasn't replied back yet

EDIT: replied right after I typed that ^..

LOL "I dont think there is any vacuum for the tank? I did pour water into the tank to check if there are any leaks, None. I have never used it, I got this from a University Surplus. I belive this is in good shape."

lol. Ya dude it takes a Dirt Devil durr. I'd buy it even if he did put the water in it. Mine I found out has a surgical rubber turnicate in it. Realy dont know how Im going to get it out since its frozen all the time. An thawing it might take a bit an Im not sacrificeing bench time

just keep it frozen..but its better if the vacuum was there...it'll hold ln2 for weeks..

Well, wouldn't it be wise to dump the water out and dry the inside? I feel like I am really missing something.....

i would rather leave the water in..if its frozen and the leak is shut...then a semi vacuum is created...

vacuum in the dewars make the dewars contain ln2 temps stable...even for a long time...

I missing somthing too. Cause all the water did was tell him their wasnt a hole threw the side wall. A crack in the internals wont leak out. Kind a like a cooler, outside may look fine but the inside is cracked to shit an it wont hold Ice. But look it can hold water. I vote buy it. I chanced mine an its fine.

And nice noodle lid!

I should try the condom thing for fun. Cept I'm not sure I have any small enough to make a seal on the top......
