Nothing much going on here but some air testing at 210 BCLK 32m SuperPi. Working on my efficiency as I'm a lil rusty.

E2160 on the way too now. Love them $30 ebay chips!

Anyone recommend a high BCLK clocking P55 mobo. Classy is out of my price range, FTW I dunno. Kinda wanting to stay away from EVGA. Asus Maximus Formula looks great but not seeing many high BCLK clocks on it at the bot. Really looking at the MSI P55-GD65 as it has hit high BCLK on the 750. I will be using it for my 550, 655k and 750.

Price is right too at the egg. Like $129.99 after $30 MIR. Thoughts? Suggestions?

No experience with 1156 so YMMV.

Went with the MSI P55-GD80.

Switched the Corsair AX 850 out of my AMD'er with an OCZ 500 watter. 850 watter was kinda overkill in the rig. Be better put to use benching or at least for now.

EDIT: You believe I ordered the mobo today, Sunday, and just got an email from the egg saying it was shipped? On a Sunday? Didn't even know they were open today.

Well had a little fun afternoon today. Dentlord stopped by and we were testing a couple of my 530's out on my MSI P55-GD80 on AIR. Damnedest thing we had ever seen was going on. I knew one of the chips was dynamite as it overclocked like a champ on my Gigabyte GIGABYTE GA-H55N-USB3 Mini ITX mobo but for some reason we couldn't get either chip to clock for shit on the MSI. One wouldn't do over 205 BCLK (4.51ghz) and the other wouldn't do over 210 BCLK (4.62ghz). We tried everything in our power but it just wasn't happening. I knew the mobo could clock well as it overclocks my 750 Lynnfield like a champ. Something about the Clarkie's it doesn't like. So I took the dynamite chip out and popped it in the Gigabyte. Mind you Dentlord was laughing and couldn't believe the size of the mobo. Kept referring to it as a bathroom tile, lol but I kept swearing by the little mobo that could. In the end we pulled this off on AIR. Room temps were roughly 76-77 degrees. 5ghz on AIR any o day feels good. Can't wait to get this chip chilly.

Nice to see you guys teaming up like that

Could it be a bios issue on the other board?

Dunno. It's updated to the latest BIOS. I need to pull the 655k out the wifes HTPC and see if it behaves the same way.
