Sad thing is if the 'cheater' worked for one of the sponsors of the website they would have way more then only 2 chances.

^ this is sooooo true. That's another argument all together though.
maybe flagging isn't the answer here... but a few questioning comments would raise the right eyebrows hopefully. Whenever I see a questionable sub I think I'm going to do just that... question it.
I do feel that screenies should be required and should stay once posted.... if nda is an issue on the screen shot then it shouldn't be there in the first place. I'm sorry but I like to see how I stack up next to everyone on the bot... it's kind of the point isn't it? An orb link or incomplete screen shot is not enough verification, and sometimes it takes a while to figure out any foul play. I enjoy playing this game, but the guys that are pulling the top scores should have to show their hand. Question it, guys... questions only hurt those with something to hide.

Sounds like a big cheat here, but it brings up some issues.
I'm constantly learning things in this biz. While it was stated that "everyone knows" about the 2XL cache in CPU-z - I didn't. Not until I read that.
Everything makes more sense the more experience I get. I got no real tech background and am kind of a monkey pressing buttons and pouring LN2.
But I'm a little uncomfortable with the reasoning that a certain uncore, voltage, and coldbug are "impossible". What that really means is that they're impossible for the little guy. Who knows what kind of random golden CPU somebody can get? There's a certain "impossible" 975 used by a certain German all the time. If I had first posted his CPU clock/coldbug I'd be flagged.

Now that his teammates/country mates gave some justification, tell me guyz, how exactly could he have cheated??? He could not have used a 980X or a i5 to get to that score, then how????
Though I agree lots of first in there to make it really a bit hard to believe score, and add in a bug(if it is a bug), it becomes harder but still I am not able to understand the method of cheating.......

Guys we have beat this horse over and over. Lets not get on this train please? This is about a ban of ONE individual for accusations of cheating. Let's just discuss this instead of all the faults we have with the system. If that's where it stays this thread will be locked down.

I thought the same thing about what other CPU could get that score? I've been on the road so I haven't seen the reasoning his teammates have given. I'll go check them out now.

Sorry bro. I just can't stand cheaters at any game, even Monopoly or checkers. It lights a special fire under my ass that makes my blood boil.... I'll be good

Don't know if that's in response to my post, but I didn't mean to start an us vs them gripefest.
Here's my point: I don't like the argument that a clock speed, impossible uncore, and especially an impossible coldbug are given a lot of weight in Westside's case. While certainly unusual, they aren't so out of line to be impossible. Impossible golden CPU's are all over the bot and they aren't all cheats by default.
I ain't supporting a cheat - looks like lots of reasons for a cheated score. But I implore folks to bring the pitch forks and torches in a rational manner.
I dream of someday having a CPU or GPU worthy of getting flagged as impossible.

No worries Patch. The no CB is bullshyte. My old W3580 had no CB, but that didn't mean it went any faster than -120c either. Uncore was rediculous on it too. On dice I could run 4800mhz+ in triple channel. On air 4450mhz was about the limit. Just a "golden" chip but it was ES.
What I was talking about was some post were re-hatching discussions in threads prior to this. Plus there were hints of accusing other people, without naming names, of cheating. We don't need that crap. We need to just focus on what we do and do it the RIGHT way. Discussion about this perma-ban at hwbot is the only thing going on here; or some other OT shyt like we always end up on.
