What did you expect. We had this kind of stuff before on XS or any other forum dedicated to Overclocking. I have seen the same reaction from them before and I'm not really surprised.

You have to be a real vag to take the piss out of someone just because they're proud of their accomplishments.

Really, just a bunch of class acts on the top end of this hobby. You all could charm the paint off walls.

Great job man. I love seeing those WR's.

Not a surprising thread, though. Certainly, there's some heat over there - but make sure you take note of the large number of guys at PURE that didn't hop in and flame.

I came to this game late and am personally spending a fortune on hardware - and killing it. It does feel extra good when you get your hands a gem (especially when it's $25 on ebay). But this sponsorship stuff goes through growing pains in every sport, and everyone always laments the good old days.

I remember it happening in surfing 20-25 years ago. Tom Curren was my idol then, and he quite appropriately left and became a hermit in France - very fitting. People were always complaining that the pro guys got flown around the world (just a few hours north of Supe every year....) to surf killer waves on free stuff. And the pros were always complaining that they had to surf meager slop and pretend it was fun just to get some points. Then Kelly Slater came along and real money started to roll in.....

Just wait until real money becomes involved in benching.

Personally, I'd love to get some binned chips and GPU's - but I got no interest in reviewing stuff. I'd rather surf slop on my own time.

(I gave up on p55 after wasting $900 on three crappy 670's with a 66% survival rate, but I might be willing to give it another go if Jor's buddy wants to unload another cherry ES for a measly $190 )

It was an ES chip...

OOOOO

That explains the angry responses then. After all without them he would never have gotten an ES.
