I have the N584, which from what I read (I forgot to check when I had the heatsink off a few minutes ago) infinieon chips.

Vgpu and vmem mods are what I was planning on. have not even run the cards at stock yet... when my board gets back (should be here thurs or friday... (thanks OC!!) I will be putting it back under water and playing around with all the cards before I get to modding them

Just ordered enough pots for all of them... with a couple extra.

Going to look at quick disconnect stuff for water cooling, so I can water cool the 7600s in SLI and hte 7800s in SLI.. plus I have a WB for the 4890, I want to take for a spin....

Oh that might be a future mod too... OCP for the EAH4890 IIRC the leds on the back of the card signified OCP shutoff when I was having problems at 1100 core before. Dunno if keeping the VRMs cooler will help prevent that or not. The FC waterblock I got for it, guy included half an old socketA hestsink to drop on the block over the VRMs said it helped keep temps down

Got tired of guessing and its only 4 screws... Infineon chips... ends in -14 so assume 1.4ns

Been a long time since I did the math... 2000/1.4 = ~1430 MHZ max stock volts?

Same on this end just Samsung mem. We'll see.

BTW: Is this the mod you will be using?

Ugh was hoping to have at least some vmods done by now.. got home Tuesday and had to tear apart my RC car. Got it all back up and running. Got some household chores to do still no GPU put.. :( Thinking I will am going to pass on the 35L fill up this weekend and just save up for the 160L. Babysitting my sister's kids Fri/sat, so going to try and get some DIce in tonight though on CPU.

Will be first time frozen i7 run for me

Guessing Fri/sat night after the kids go to bed I can work on vmods.

EDIT: UGh just got the word gotta go get the DIce now if I am going.

Looks like some tasty stuff going on here.

Yea, I know the OCN sticky is missing a lot, but it's more for archive purpasses that a teaching handbook. Nice to have a compiled list of comfirmed mods, so you don't have to search through threads looking for a completed mod.

If you guys like, I could post a copy of the archive here.

Found saminos OLD guide cached at vr-zone (DLed the pics and copied the text will post it up here if its okay with him)

Only thing it has no read points listed. In fact I cant find ANY read points anywhere for the EVGA N550

Still reasearching...

Okay. one 7600GT is the 7600B rev 2.3 PCB seems seems like its going to be more trouble than its worth. From what I gather it does not look like its going to happen. However, I maybe able to flash it to a KO so get some more speed out of it. (judgment call based on This link)

Other 7600GT is refernce design though so Shaminos guide will work just fine

When vmod guides say "replace resistor with XXX VR" They mean remove the SMD that is on the board and mount the VR? Or just add the VR over top of it? (confused because... electricity follows path of least resistance... so technically adding it on top and lowering resistance should still work yes? This way the VR can be removed later without worrying about trying to remount the SMD....)
