LOL! beats the hell out of the hand-held glass I've been using forever....

Sherlock Holmes-style soldering FTW!

Found a tweaker store just off post here that has the vr's i need... going to see if they have a handy gem strap like that while I'm at it.

This is a sweet tool to have! I have something like this just bigger at work so any volt mod is like a walk in the park. All you need to have is pretty steady hands and the right iron/soldering tip.

Kal, just get a dead router PCB, soldering is actually really easy. Just need to take your time and only use very LITTLE soldering tin A good iron with a small and pointy tip and good soldering tin, you'll be rockin those PCB's
