nice work man! this review is definitely improved from the last one

Looks like a really nice board too. You need some acard/irams to see if ICH10R w/ sata3 will still bottleneck at the same speeds in pcmark05

I didnt try to max out bclk, but i did find something really cool for anyone like me who likes 2d benches....

If you disable HT and turn it down to 2 cores your max multi jumps from 24x max to 26x max....

i did not see the max bclk, but then again im not sure if i could hit it with my cooling unless i just dropped the multi to test the max bclk, but TBH knowing gigabyte boards i imagine the bclk wall will be between 220-230, but i have seen some exceeding that with higher pci-e frequencies...

but for you i will retest for max bclk and update

As soon as i get some sata3 hardware im game... i also wanna play with a USB 3 thumb drive

I would also like to look into the ports to see if they support port replication as that could be fun, but doubtful

Yah I have been waiting for a chance to play with this on my 920. I figured it would only be with a single core to get the 22X multi. Would be cool if it worked with dual core on my chip too Will test it out tonight if it ever stops raining

Just for fun, drop down to single core and check max multi. According to Intel specs
your max turbo multi should be 27, if you calculate backwards from 3.6 max turbo freq.

so basily, dependon on your request, if your USB 3 and sata3 device

especially for you upgrade USB 3 for USB2,.

so look it normal, like GIGABYTE's previous P55 motherboard,
new A verison works Dual Card also SATA3 and USB3 at the same time.

hicookie,
hey guys heres for a little clarification as it appears that the tech specs were a little misleading.... you can run on USB 3 and sata 3 with the system running dual cards in SLI or CF 8x 8x just like any other P55. but when GEN2 mode speed/bandwidth is needed it will only allow one
