				 Can 2500K compete?

My 860 isn't quite cutting it for benching anymore, and i am getting my ass whooped by P67 guys, so i was considering an upgrade. (ignore my HWbot, i don't post most of the stuff i bench)
Question is, is the 2500K going to help me remain competitive, or is 2600K the only way to go? The only real difference is the 2MB of cache.

 thanks

For benchmarking, it makes a hell lot of difference. In simple terms, if with 2600K you can get 100th Global rank, with 2500K you will drop to 200 even at same clocks, just an example. So it makes sense to buy 2600K. Ofcourse if you are not keen to participate in rankings or just concentrating on hardware point then ofcourse not much of a difference but then even your 860 would do for that.

			cool.
I really just want it to support whatever card i happen to be benching at the time.

The really enticing thing is 5+ghz, without having to monitor a pot.

Probably should have never sold my first 2600k
