Installing Tiny XP on a ssd and it took a couple of tries before proceeding. This is the damndest piece of hardware I've ever seen...don't know if its the chip or the mb.

WTF ..........

tried rebooting three times say IDE mode is on

tried sata6 and usb 3 disable

Have tried like 12 times now ............

All same result

Finally, formating drive

fifth instalation disc, WTF , I know all of my disc's to be good ....

This one was on a yellow disc, must like yellow I guess ...........

Some funky shit going on with this new BIOS ........

Having similar issues Bian - This thing is a killer of hdd's and ssd's...makes them unrecognizable in bios. Trying one last time with a Velociraptor.

It s a full XP install or a stripped one?

Full XP disc.

This is sort of like the weather, not sure what is going to happen .......

What I guess is so frustrating is the lack of knowledge from the Asus tech support.

It is like they are reading the shit of a piece of paper or something

O well, threw a few benches up for a couple of boints anyhow
