Wait a minute, wait a damn minute. Just went to power management in control panel, set it to high performance and wammo. Problem fixed. Max multi at all times with EIST enabled. Now I feel better in life. Was wondering how I was going to bench with cpu down clocking. Now just waiting on better cooling and I should be off to the races.

Yeah I have been saying that. Shit seems to do whatever it wants. I have EPU disabled still have to load up the software in windows and force it to High Performance :S

Glad you are finally pushing the 5+ GHz mark

Thanks for the linky to the 414 BIOS. Asus still only has the 404 on their website.

Here is the link Witchdoctor hooked me up with for Asus P67 mobos. Not only does it have BIOS's but all the rest of your current drivers.

This is just maddening...I still have been unable to flash the bios on this board by an means.

Jesus! Asus can kiss my Assus! Finally managed to load bios 1007...still seems flakey tho.

I have not seen that BIOS for this board ?

is it on their site, I have 1053

How are yo flashing it ? b oot or software

Installed the AI suite and flashed it with that. Flawless

Sounds like something be effed up there ???

5 Ghz FTW ...............

That's strange because Asus has always been the easiest mobo for me to flash.

Very nice though. At least your chip can do 53 multi. Maybe even more once you get the wrinkles ironed out.
