I don't think you'll have a problem... My HX1000 is awesome.

As an update, the hx1000 seems to be handling my pc quite well so far and I am nearly done testing it's first stable overclock at 4.41ghz. This chip clocks well but seems to be quite the volt whore requiring about 1.45v to pass prime...not exactly stellar there for a D0. I don't know how many peeps are running Prime95 64 bit for testing but it seems like some are fudging there. This chip is 3d benchable at 4.4 with only about 1.3v, is that more on par with others experience with the 920 D0's?

Awhile back I saw you recommend two CPU blocks and I think it was for an i7. I can't seem to find it now. Can you recommend me one or two?

Depends on what you like Nip, the Dtek and GTZ are both very repeatable mounts but not the top performing. The Hk 3.0 is the best for temps and flow (looks cool too) but the mounting requires more dicking around with, my 2 chief complaints against the GTZ are it's exaggerated bow and it seems some are having corrosion issues with it too.

Ease of mounting get the Dtek, best possible temps if you don't mind screwing with it is Hk 3.0 .

HK 3.0 is the one. I just came from the D-Tek and wished all heatsinks whether water or air were like this. I can't see the HK 3.0 being any tougher to dick around with than the TRUE!

Whatcha you think of this?

A lil expensive but looks to be a performer.

If it was me I wouldn't even measure it out on the mounting, I would just snug it down and then start the pc and start priming. Once temps start to stabilize you adjust tension slowly until you have optimal temps.

Yes, make sure you add a back plate to your order.

I told you to treat her like a whore; not a lady. Maybe you'll find some majic sauce and get the volts down??

BTW don't alot of people run higher vtt than you to help get the vcore down? Thought I read that, but I'm totally lost on i7.
