IDK if it's anything like riding a bike.... I look at it like a bad cocaine habit:

All you want is more, sleep isn't necessary, and sometimes you would rather do that than eat. When you get a good bench session in, the high lasts for what feels like forever, but if you have a bad one, you want to beat the dealer with a bat. Or something along those lines...
