hmmm did they put a thicker pad underneat the ioh?

I didn't take it apart this time as i prolly should have...With the first one it was set to shut down at 100C as you mentioned and did while i was loading win 7..

I just put on the extra heatsink and fan...But on the upside it is a 40-50C improvement.

You could be correct about a change in pads...I was in a bit of a hurry because pics were wanted of the case and i had sit on it for 2 weeks...I used the first R3E in my lian li cube....


side note:

My mom was holding wires for me why I tied things off and at the end she looked at me and ask...
