yeah it appears the VSS could be causing some issues, ive seen alot with taht issue.

Going to have to pull my chip today and see whats up. I OC'd my 860 on Cascade and pumped a lot of vcore/vtt into it.

Glad they finally pegged the culprit. Should save people some grief picking motherboards, as well as checking their existing boards for contact.
