This is awesome. For example I had really bad issues with my dual 4870's and my x58 setup. C/F just sucked. I tried different methods of installing the drivers and such, nothing worked. That's why I have a 9800GX2 now, problem is gone. However, lotta people were plagued with that same problem. Hopefully Hyrdra will take care of these issues.

Well pretty much doomed Hydra, thanks.

Anything that is "the next iteration of..." never seems to get its comeuppance.


Off track thought. Releasing unlocking features in drivers is a great way to combat any competitor IF you release them for already manufactured cards not just new ones... Wonder if Hydra hitting the market place means 4870x2 holders are going to get a little windows Vista/7 special unlock feature coming up....

LOL What am i thinking. Of course it will require R800 chipset, with only SB850 not originally released SB800 or something like that. (well at least AMD mobos are cheap lol)
