I hold both a journeyman electrical liense and a master electrical license and can tell you I charged people less to install a dedicated outlet than one of my 4870x2's cost. Install of a single circuit and receptacle should be under $250.00 depending on if there is room in the panel for an additional breaker and ease of getting the wiring to the final location.
I had to re-wire most of my house in Florida..I don't think they had any code here...When I did I put in a 200 amp service and ran 2 20amp breakers just for office. Put in 12 wire 2 receptacles on each breaker...Chesapeake is right....You would be surprised how many don't put the right wire with the correct breaker size..I probably did a over kill and could have gotten by with one 20 amp breaker..It is a dedicated 2 lines just for PC stuff...Before I had all kinds of breaker kicks..It makes a difference and is well worth it...
