Looks good bro. I wanna see some pics of that on the tech station. I wonder how it will fit since its almost e-ATX?

The mobo fits just fine except on the opposite side of the station to the GPU bar. It over hangs about 1". I have the standard size station so I am sure on the larger version there wouldn't be that over hang. BIOS is a lil different than the DFI but along the same lines so training is over. Unfortunately my time has run out for today as I have to go start on that remodel.

I have a feeling somebody is dying to order a Classy. FWIW the non nf200 board is in stock at the egg today. Honestly Jeffro with more peeps playing with their boards, it looks as if they are equal in overclocking. Plus you have those x2's so the non nf200 will prolly do you better. With the 759 model you will be going through three bridge chips to render images. That's just extra latency. If you were gonna game with them 280's then I'd prolly want the 759.

Yeah... I can't find the nf200 board anywhere anymore. I talked to EVGA and they told me the two boards will OC the same and there was no difference as far as that...But I did order me a 920 D0 and a Gigabyte UD5 to play with. I'll see how the UD5 handles OC'ing and maybe later order a Classified, i'd still like to play with one of those for sure.

But I will soon be i7!!!

Jeffro, I was having a discussion about you a couple days ago. I actually said the UD5 would prolly be the best board for you. You seem to like 2d benches ALOT!! The gigabyte board won't hit the huge bclocks as the classified, but it is way more efficient; aka you will get way better scores clock for clock in your wprime, spi, and pifast. Plus I think the gigabyte has the most practical slot layout for a gaming purposes than all other i7 boards.

I can back that statement up fully. Clock for clock, the Gigabyte X58 boards beat up everything out there. If you plan on hitting 210-215 max bclk the UD4/UD5/Extreme are the boards to use.

The super pi efficiency on those giga boards are almost scary. If it wasn't for the uber extra clocks the Classified can get, the giga might be king right now. Some people are able to get nice efficiency out of the Classified too, but it's usually uber memory sub-timing tweakers that get it. Or maybe they have a Shamino's personal phone number.

I got his number. 1-888-WET-POKE. (j/k)

The eVGA vanilla board runs the same as the Classified efficiency wise. I just ran 06 4.5 HT on, cpu score was 7600+. On the Extreme same bench at 4.4ghz scored 8400+ on the cpu score. That's a huge ding on the total right there. I do find the eVGA is a bit better at 32m pi, but gets spanked in everything else by significant margins. Which brings me to a point lol. The Classified and it's relatives are awesome boards, but there is a shi* ton of automatic subtimings being loosened at the IMC/QPI level to achieve the high bclks we're seeing.

Oh I like the 3D benches too.... just haven't had much time and was just trying to test and dial in some settings on the AMD rig at higher clocks. But yeah, that's what I told Frank when we were discussing boards... I can go with the UD5 now and play around with it and if i'm not satisfied I can always try the Classy later. Besides... I would have had to wait longer if I went with the Classy now. I just hope I can find a nf200 board when I do look to buy one.
