New RAM just arrived. After the kids go to bed I will be getting my 24/7 setup so I can bench the crap outta this i7 w00t!!!

Ran both test today for a total of about an hour. Basically set the f1 on the 980x and splashed ln2 in without insulation, kept it around 20c. I did this to add a comparison to the scores that are up so far. The SPi 8m is with a waza and maxmem and some other mild tweaks.

1m57.075s, or second place so far... The scores are in there guys, just tighten your stuff up and keep on bangin away at it.

Yeah no more benching 8m for you ROM...

I need to go back and revisit each tweak now, since it seems that there has to be another second or two in the pi tank..... I was feeling all dominant and shit, too...

The purpose of the post was to offer an example of a baseline with the gulftown.
Also I wanted to show that you and the rest of the leaders in the compo are on teh up and up. Better scores are in there, just gotta pry em out!
