did the PLL and mem+OCPmem, mods on this 580 lol a huge glob of sold jumped off the tip and splattered all over the mem controller area. Luckily it all chipped up pretty easy. Tested card and mods work. Will get it cold later

Fair enough, and no I haven't. What version of afterburner is best? Just the latest of the website? Used to use a beta which wasn't that widely available if I remember correctly?
XP, just daily at the moment, just trying to get a feel for the card and benches more than scores overall.
Will do that now, I'm more concerned with it not going to 3D clocks though? :/

Changed the config file, and nothing seems to have changed?
Was it meant to allow me to change the voltages?
Also, my config file doesn't have all of the lines you posted?

And glad to hear splave, would've been pretty bad luck if you'd accidentally killed the card :/

The enableunofficialoverclocking is for ATI cards.

AS for clock limits. I have a 580 and running the latet AB I can clock way higher than is stable and have Voltage unlocked.

You can always flash it with another BIOS also and use a tool like smartdoctor.

Yeah I could, inspector will do, especially since it now has monitoring aswell.

Oh.. for forcing 3D clocks you can do that in nvidia control panel too.

That card has the right bios on it for going cold. I wouldnt flash it. Just remembered i used nvidia inspector for clocks. I had the hard mod done for voltage.

Yeah I won't bother flashing the BIOS.
Will look into forcing 3D clocks.

Don't seem to have that driver installed in any case :/
Although I know I did last time I installed these drivers. (266.68)
Will look into it more over the week, hopefully will hear about DI tomorrow, so I can start to do some cold testing.
Will try 06 and see if I get similar problems, may revert to slightly older drivers.

And great work DOM, always amazing to see high freq. results!
