well yeah Rev, that was my whole point and/or question. The threading adds surface area, but at the same time reduces the overall mass of the block. Wasn't worried at all about bubbles being trapped (help, help lol)

So with more surface area you'd get quicker response, with less mass, you'd get less stability... where would the trade off become beneficial.

I don't have the balls to tap out a $250 copper block anyway ... was just curious mostly
