I have been using Win 7 now after it went live on MSDN/TechNet and so far I have not had one issue with it. All my other software is working just fine with no problems at all.

This has been a very smooth install and working rig so far.

I was running RC for about a month. Not bad, still has issues with some things. Plus the new UI is way to clunky. I suppose I understand how people that went from XP To vista felt. I was running Longhorn since, 2003? so Vista is like XP to me

After dealing with Vista's asshole bootmanager for the last couple of years, I am in lust with Win7 and its almost hiccup free boots.

FYI, I did a quick install/run with WIN7 without installing the latest Nvidia drivers for the GTX285. Then I installed/reboot, ran with drivers and scored 2k points less with the drivers.

One thing I like about Windows 7 is less driver CD/DVD's I have to run. On other O/S's I have to install mobo drivers, wireless usb drivers, bluetooth drivers and what not. Windows 7 I don't have to.

Yeah that was a big plus to me also.
First time I installed Win 7 and went to install the chipset drivers and saw that the device manager had nothing to update I went... oh no whats going on here. Then after searching around I found all was good, installed GPU drives and away I went

I did have to use the Vista 64 drivers for the ARC-1231 controller card but they seem to be working just fine.

So far Windows 7 RC seems to work better than Vista SP2...How sad is that? I really hope that this os doesn't get screwed up for release.
