New build for Philly Cheese - Lots of pics. All new parts.

Let's start off with Big 3/4 hp condenser



3/4 hp Danfoss Compressor



Evaporator brazed up



Flex line brazed to evap



Cap tube coming up



Water bath to check for leaks



Evap is pressured at 250psi to check for leaks while bathing



I like to wrap the cap tube around flexline for added subcooling, then add rubber tape to secure cap tube to flex.

My work bench



I add a piece of copper around the joint where the flexline and copper meet. This is a spot where leaks can possible develop over time.

Unit is all brazed up now and pressure testing. I have more pictures but I need a break from uploading for lunch.

I shoot for -35 C at 300 watt load, evaporator temperature.

I have a lot more pictures to come. Unit is vacuuming now. I let it vacuum overnight
and then do a triple evac tomorrow and then charge it up with r-507.
