Default x58 LE possible ram issue

Ok the issue lies here.

Stock speeds, just ram voltage and timing set, GPU's work great.

Any kind of OC, even just the dummy OC, my cards run at about 20%

In 3dmark 06 - first screen single gtx275, about 100FPS, with any kind of OC about 20FPS?

I am running Corsair DDR3 1333mhz ram, 9-9-9-24 1.5v

I know I know I need better ram for this nice i7 I have...

It will come, in the meantime, I can run Super Pi and CPU benches OC'd with no issues, 10.2 Super Pi 1M at 3.8GHZ

May not be the most stable, but this should not cause my 3D benchmarks to only output 20% unless the ram has that big of a factor, and does not want to run at 1333 or even slightly over.

Evga x58 LE, ram above, i7 920, gtx275, corsair hx 1000

Any input will be great!

mark did you run the precision OSD to see if the cards were downclocking at all.

Also at stock speeds does it do it?

Speaking from personal experience don't ever skimp on the RAM. If there is one thing to spend a little more money on it is this in my opinion. I don't think RAM is the issue here though. Have you tried uninstalling the driver and reinstalling it? Sounds like the driver isn't behaving properly to me. I know when I push my cards to hard the driver stops responding and this sounds about what it does. Just taking a stab at it.

To answer all of the above, cards perform perfectly at stock speeds.

I have tested with both cards separately, to test for a card issue, or PSU issue.

If I run no CPU/RAM OC, I can push the cards until they quit and they perform like beasts.

I have flashed the mobo bios, which improved a couple things, I have cleared and reinstalled drivers.

Must also mention that this was on a fresh install of windows, newest mobo and GPU drivers.

The only questions I have is the Corsair HX1000 is rated at 13A input current.

If I am only running a 10A power cord, mine was missing from my brand new PSU, could this cause the PSU to drop power?

Gonna test in SLI to question the PSU as to this issue.

I'm thinking it is def a config issue, or the fact that my ram does not want to run at the rated speeds.

I may contact Corsair and see what they have to say.

Unless the grand master punx can help me getting some settings locked down.

In all my wonderous wisdom and expertise that I lack which make me a Noob4Life, I would have to say that Corsair HX1000 should get a round of applause for not straight kicking the bucket while trying to operate without a proper umbilical cord and nutrients.
