This one came in a huge box, T-shirt and this really big mouse pad..I'm guessing the cost of it, they were thinking you wouldn't have any clothes...lol


I had the GTX 680 sig sent..it was pretty...backplate and all...nothing worked..fan didnt even spin...I sent it back and this is what came..

The card is really something to see...the workmanship is just amazing..I would think to bench you would be better off with 2/680's in sly but for gamers..this thing is it...

I only do water cooled so I will post 5.0 and 5.1 runs..I decided to use EVGA's Precision X software..Im a bit green with Nvidia..I have forgotten..the nice thing about there software is you can bench it and see if it will crash but un-like afterburner the voltage increase is a bit lacking..everything I have run is with stock voltage..I clocked it a bit but never raised the voltage of the 690....yet

3Dmark 11 at 5.0 ran well..I still have alot of room to push the 690

Vantage was also kicking...I have 900 team points..Just need to find a place to park them....

The Heaven extreme took 1st place at the bot...but then again there is only 5 submissions all though there is 82 690's there..

The basic Heaven took second...some guy name true Monkey beat me with LN..but I did get him with the extreme Heaven...not bad for a WC guy..

Took 2nd running 3D03....Just crushed it...the card is really amazing..

no..The 680 was sent by my cousin to do his homewaork..water cooled is what he wants from me..the gamers are his biggest market...the note said..."i might have to get this back...I love this sucker..it's not going to happen....lol





I change video cards alot...for a long time the ATI 5870 was always with me...then the GTX580 for awile...I have a new fave...Video cards are a real personal part of a PC..with this 690 the speed and lack of heat plus hardly no sound and the fact it is really beautiful makes it a easy pick...now the cost is just nuts..not sure i would or could pay it..BUT if I was going to get 2...7970's or ...680's..I for sure would...I have only been told 2 times they might want this back when I run a card...so far this has never happened...I dont think they can get this one back...Im not home...LOL
This is my first time with EVGA..I am so impressed by there card and software...just really great workmanship...

also I keep the sides off my Mtn mods fish tank but I have never liked a card that exhausted from both ends..This doesnt really matter..its actually hard to gget it to blow ward......I miss you guys
