Default Which TIM

Which thermal interface compound is best for extreme overclocking. Seems to change from time to time so I'm curious which is the currently preferred.

Nice Poll.....

OCZ Frezze and Gelid GC Xtreme have same source in product. OCZ freeze have 2 version old and new version..if we get old version that better than last version.

Wonder if that' related to the cap color on the Freeze ? First batch we got had clear caps, second batch had blue caps and the TIM seemed a little less liquid .. or would that be more solid??

I've never used that brand, but I do have some diamond TIM in a syringe that I've only used on WC so far. Scratches the shit out of your IHS so I haven't used much

Last order of OCZ Freeze was with Tiger Direct and it's blue caps.

Curious if any users of GelID use the little spreader paddle included with the TIM.

IC Diamond is really good stuff tbh but its a bitch to remove and you can lap your CPU with it.

the EVGA stuff is rebranded stuff from hong kong... sucks for air/water but good for LN2 transfer.... just be very careful.... you get it on your CPU and your CPU is dead simple as that....

also get it on you and its a bitch to get off.

very high silver content so its capacitive so be careful fellas...
