I just put my gamer back together with a P67 v3 MIVE, 2600K, and tri sli 580s. When I first turned it on it went to setup (as expected) but I noticed it wasn't recognizing the SSD, only the storage HDD. So I set it on defaults, saved it, then shut it down.
Turned out the hot swap bay the SSD was in had a broken SATA connector, so I moved it and tried it again.. and again.. and again...
Board keeps holding up on A2 (IDE detect) and will not boot. Neither BIOS results in a boot, clearing CMOS doesn't do shit. It won't even go back into SETUP with only the storage HDD attached like it did the first time
Have swapped boot SSD for boot Raptor.. no difference. Doesn't seem to be able to find any IDE drives.
Any ideas let me know
