No the MSI platform I am sure is as good as any other, just when you mentioned resale value my buddies Vega came to mind for one reson or another, but meant the resale value reguardless of the motor AKA GPU is shit on laptops and Vegas alike ...............
And when you said you were not gaming on it the only thing that even makes sense would be if you do 3D modeling or plan to fold on it
