I think WD is on to something. Like a rotating monopoly with each companies base fanboys so worked up they'll jump at launch they can each price their cards where ever they want to
Fanboy or not, the enthusiasts will buy each brand at each launch bringing in bundles of cash... almost illegal - would be illegal if you could find the email where nVidia and AMD agreed to a six month launch offset
