they did an update for the Gulftown...

At first i thought i had a bad chip...anytime I did a stress like linX or prime95 I could see the multi dropping to 26 or 25 depending on the stress....

I then saw on the Asus site and XS where people were raising he11 about it....
Then on XS the Asus guy came on and said they were going to get the engineers involved....

This is not the case with the rampage and others..also I saw where Eva from I4 was having the same problem with his P6T6 but was able to stop it by exiting Turbo mode..I have never used that....

if you leave it on a 25 multi you can go for it but i would like to have the option.....

It is time anyway....In reality, I don't think the P6T7's true design was for extreme OCing..That is prolly why no nb/sb water block...

The board was sent to me for testing the xeon chips...I think..I really forget....

This will be a learning curve for me....I know i can find the help i need here..

I do need to try to understand the EVGA bios updating....with Asus it was just a click..Put it on a usb and in bios there was a tool for it..EZ Flash....

I think I am going to have to burn a CD with some type of ISO program with the evga..

I will order it soon....
