Hey David.. hope your Mom does well. I just sent off my supertalent 3GB kit for RMA.. (a heatspreader popped off and ripped all the ICs off with it). When it comes back.. if you still need ram.. If you can wait 2 weeks, hold off on purchase... I will shoot it to you to abuse 
only 3gb kit.. but gets you up and running for real
