LOL WOW This ram is going to work out very well
Something I saw in the BIOS made me think this board had a memory limit on it. So I set all things to stock levels. upped fsb to 166 and multi to 21, restarted.
tooling around in windows installing some more stuff. Decide to run prime95 to see how she is doing temp wise.
instant crash, get into bios and my mem is running at 1997MHz :o 9-9-9-27 1T at 1.65v booted windows and ran (till stressed obviously)
I think I need to buy the other two kits on thursday
Dropping it back to 1660 though, was only trying to find some stock volt cpu limits. Man this is goign to be fun
Even with a bottom of the barrel x58 board
(oh.. AMD fanboy speak following.... snappiness is definitely not there compared to my AMD setup. Although must say at almost 3.5GHz, and DDR3 1997 cas 9 it was definitly a much better desktop experience then stock
