Thought I'd put this out here, I'm sure I'm the last to know as usual....But first to post!

Let’s speculate performance, Haswell-E, owing to 2 more cores (4 more threads) compared to the upcoming Ivy Bridge-E platform, and taking in all architectural enhancements into consideration, should perform between 33-50% better (best case scenario) than the 2013 enthusiast platform. Finally, a real new performance part by Intel. Of course, this won’t be a game changer as AMD continues to be virtually non-existent in competing with Intel on CPU performance (and that scenario will most likely not change in the near future as well, we’re talking AMD Steamroller here).

Why I'm not buying any 4770k's. New platform. No sense in wasting money again. I've gotten control of my spending. I think. loool I may do 4770k like a year from now when it's dirt cheap and I can get dirt cheap chips that perform.

Have been watching this, from what I understand it will be the Haswell refresh finally getting the E line on par with it's mainstream brothers, if so I will be on board with this platform, price of admission will be steep unfortunatly, but it will pwn Vantage and up
