Joining forces in the pro league.
 

Romdom and I will be joining forces in the pro league. For now I will be carrying his sorry ass for a while but he will help out a ton with 2 way 3d on ln2 etc. This way we can pool our resources freely.

New name of our shared account will be Splave.ROM how badass is that haha, who was bios? lmao.

will you still be on OCA ? does it allow hardware sharing ? and is that leagul in the bush leauge ?

never heard this before, are they a lot of guys doing this ?

As to other peoples worries, I assume it is a new user, as one has to assign a single user for pooled resources.

No worries, just questions as if hardware is able to be shared leaguly between two teammates, more so if a team can join forces and allow sharing amungst the entire team it will completly change the landscape.

ITs fuzzy, as long as either person does not use a specific piece for a specific bench, it is a allowed.

they can pool motherboards and RAM, put a CPU share can only be used on CPU tests, however can be shared for GPU tests.

Splave.ROM eliminates all the issues. If ROM has 2 good GPUs and splave has 2 good GPUs they can 4 way and put it under their name and pass hwbot rules, combined with eithers other stuff.

Anything they use under splave.ROM will still only be usable under that user name. If they use it under another user name...a CPU for GPU can be used for CPU under another user, even other GPU tests, but a GPU can not be used for other GPU tests, but is fine for CPU tests.

It is not Hardware sharing per se. At least as far as the rules go. Maybe there is even a clause for CPUs being reused and hence the team thing :)

Its easy, Im changing my name to Splave.ROM and brendan and I will both submit to that name. It eliminates any sharing because we are the same entity then. Saves me from binning cpu's for him haha ;) and we can pool resources like chips and cards

We are still on Team OCA ofcourse, romdominance will either just leave his account or have to delete it im not sure.
