Nice RAM. Dunno too much about that insulation and how well it will do. What is it, just your plain o foam packing that you would find in packing? If it is I know that stuff can hold some water like a sponge which might be bad.

I agree, you might want to test that stuff first before commiting to a run.

You could use the method I've used before by using a thin film of dielectric grease where you know or think water/condensation will be.
You don't need to glob it on, just get a film of it wherever needed and it should prevent a short. If you still want to use the foam, the grease would at least give it some protection - Only real drawback to the grease is well, it's grease and not the easiest stuff to clean off.

That stuff would prolly make a better coffee filter, lol.

I would use steam or something to clean that shit off with and make erasrer stick .......

That shit is like a sponge, and while it won't tranfer cold it will cetainly tranfer water .... :ohcrap:

Kiki, if you don't get eraser around the perimeter of that cpu you are going to lose it. I'm talking about where the chip sits in the socket and the bracket meets the chip.
