i like the Z70

Is it just me or do they pretty much look the same as the rest of their cases besides the snail shell case, WTF is that? Wish they would think harder and come up with some different designs.
|
Their designs just work, no reason to change them I guess. Only reason to come out with new ones is USB3?
|
I agree, they are just none better, sure there are a lot of spins on design and what not
They have always been about elegance and funtionality, I have had three and TBH really don't look at anything else except when buildng for someone else, they are budget killers fo sho |
Oh yes they work. I have one in the closet, one in the living room holding my media center and sold one with my 960 build I had. Not asking for bells and whistles as I like my design simpled down as much as possible. I just have no need for three 5 1/4" panels on my PC's. Not even one for that matter. I buy one of these and it just looks retarded having the extra panels unused or at least I think so. I barely use a DVD drive so really I prefer no 5 1/4" panel and just use my external drive when needed. That just adds more to the cleanliness of the build. I am glad to see them getting a way from the 3 1/2" panels they seemed to have kept around forever. Those really looked retarded. I guess my only complaint is the panels, lol. Any who my focus has shifted towards micro and mini builds so what I have talked about is irrelevant as I won't be buying any mid or full size towers anytime within the next few or more years.

yea I think the only thing those mostrosities are good for is if you want full blown H2O hidden internally,
I think I will get some good milage out of the last one I bought, although I wish it had top mount usb3  my next build will be LGA2011 on the rack for some sub zero bointing fun FTW I like the mATX the best out of the lot though  |
I agree with the front panel. I have one optical drive in the HTPC. And a SATA DVDRW that gets atached to bench rigs for XP installs. Everything else is done via USB stick now.
USB3 to SSD raid array? 7 minutes to desktop FTW! |
damm.... thats fast,
I am old school ... still use disc's :ohcrap: |

I am so anti optical now, when I wanted the audio license off the P67 ASUS DVD, I put it in the rig downstairs and made an ISO of it LOL |
