My 1st Intel Build
5 Attachment(s)
I came across an MSI Big Bang X-power and a 920 DO so cheap there was no passing it up. I sold my 1090T in a heartbeat.
It came all covered in ~2 pounds of vaseline  Anyways I cleaned her up real nice and am here to show you how pretty she looks all dressed in blue. :D As you can see in the last picture, I had to dremel-mod the F1EE hold down plate to get it in there. I used the same old waterblock from socket 939.....I just turned it sideways and held it down with the F1EE base and top. Seems to work pretty well so far. Last night upon initial testing Core-Temp was reading -7s until I tried Prime blend for a few minutes which showed me as high as 3C with 4 cores @ 100% load. Although that was @ default everything I am still very pleased. What do you guys think?:) |
I love this stuff, looks like a fun weekend heading your way.
You are going to love the 920, they are simply way sick .... digging the set up Ny ..... tear it up |
