Enermax Galaxy 1000W
 

Hey,
Just wondering, if this is a decent PSU to buy for benching? Am being offered it for 60 quid

its a good 800w psu....

So does that mean you'd reccommend something else? What else could I get for the price?
Atm I'm using a 850W SilverStone Strider I think, would that be better?
And what do you mean it's a good 800W PSU?

if you find a cheap corsair hx850...thats a super gem

Been offered a HX1000 for double the price of the enermax, but I just can't afford it
I can't afford a new HX850, and I've posted wanted threads, and no one has put forward a HX850
To be fair, this PSU should be more than enough considering at the moment I'm only doing 2D, and the most power hungry cpu I have is an i5 670 :P

hx1000 is ok..but never got into my psu list :D
