Does anyone know what this error means and how to resolve it? I'm ready to bench and can't begin without it...

that is a straight up direct3D error. Have you disabled a bunch of services?

also, what os is it? does it have dot net or have you been tweaking with rivatuner?

Appears to be a chopped down win 7. I'm with Face... .net may be the answer.
