='( anyone is good with TV's?

so i've got this Sony TV, it's the KDL-40S4100
(http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...52921665381955)

this just starting to happen..
i have this TV used as a monitor..
and now the TV gets power but nothing on the screen...
normally when i turn the TV on it's at HDMI 2 is hooked in to the computer..
and if i flip the up and down it'll go to 1 or 2

and now when i turn the TV on nothing happens
no sound no picture no nothing...

anything i should try?

No idea coco, is it still within the warranty period?

HITandRUN 09-07-2010 04:33 PM

Is the TV working on regular TV stations or just the HDMI 2 for PC is not working?

no sir, nothing is showing up..
i really think it may be the logical board that's broken...
because the thing turns on but nothing is working
but at the sametime it picks up the remote (on and off) :Dizzy:
it's not the back light i can tell that for sure .. so that's good

Do you have the stand by LED blinking right after you power it up? Most TV sets will blink display some code.

Than I have no clue. I had a simular situation on my Panasonic. It would come on but the stand by LED would blink a few times. After hitting google I found out that it was a defective power board which was covered by the warranty. Call the service line since sometimes even when your warranty is expired they know they have a failing part and will replace it free of cost.
