When It Rains It Pours

And when it hells it sucks! Here's the scenario. Was at the theater Sunday with the with my soon to be, sister and brother-in-law and friend. Was watching Iron Man 2 and about 1 hour 25 minutes into the movie when we started to hear this loud rumbling. It kept getting louder and louder to the point you could not even hear the movie anymore. Took me a sec to click to it but then I was that is hell. Then next thing you know someone comes in yelling tornado and the movie theater went crazy I tell ya. Ended up not being a tornado but the biggest hell storm I or OKC has ever seen. It went on for about 15 minutes and was golfball size to softball size hell. They ended up cutting the movie off with 15 minutes left to play. Every car in the parking lot got trashed. Here is the end result on our 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which we just paid off last month!

My sisters car was a Honda Fit and was half as big as this car with less damage and was just quoted at $8,000 in damage so I am sure ours will hit at least $10,000 in damage. Every square inch of the car got hit. Never seen nothing like this. This is all on top of the tornadoes that hit here last week. At least that didn't hit us but did take out part of my moms edition. In the end we are alright but money just got a little tighter. :(

What was happening couldn't have been prevented. I was more pissed at them cutting the movie off with 15 minutes left in it. Now if I want to see the rest I have to go watch it again or wait for DVD. :(

And this wont be covered under insurance??? Thats sad, in India you can buy a car for that price, hahahahahaha, :P

DrNip 05-18-2010 01:37 AM

Yeah its covered. Just got to pay the $500 deductible not to mention who wants a 2 year old repaired car? I sure don't as we just bought the damn thing! Here is some video from the storm.

Nip I can hook you up bro :)

I will be working up in the north side near Edmond, and we can fix your car and save your deductible.

Won't cost you anything, usually can get you a rental car as well at no charge.

Give me a call :)

Heading out the door for Tulsa right now. I'll talk to the old lady when I get back and see what she's talking and let ya know.
