Yah, but did you see the VGA maximizer he had hooked up to run that? I'm gonna say it'll be hard to reach those clocks with a stock PCB until I see it with my own eyes.

This is just marketing again. The PCB he designed to get this thing at those clocks is just freaky: http://j.imagehost.org/view/0373/uiiui

i don't think its marketting....
based on my 285 experience it needed heavy power...the gtx480 is almost 100% power hungry... imagine clocking a 480gtx without added power...you'll definitely be limited...ouch for now i'll wait for asus gtx 480 matrix.....or an msi version....bwahhahahah |

MSI :ohcrap: |
anyways its all about patience...i think i have the right batch for the gt...so i'm set for that...now waiting if shammy will come out with a new classified...or i might get asus r3e...my last classy died badly...
msi certainly screwed you guys up...but i think they can fix it with software... gtx480 will still mature..but like nvidia delays..it will take longer..till msi/asus/gb will come out with a non reference card...even if that is non reference...the gpu core..just sucks alot of current-power..maybe even those will need added power... |
