What do you need help with?

Rogue210 03-23-2010 05:41 PM

changed the blk frequency and pcie frequency slightly and the darn thing shuts down....did not change anything else...

Went to Asus.com and they don't have my mobo listed :(

Kinda of want to throw this board out the window right now

K, so did you remember to set vdimm back to 1.65v after clearing cmos?

Next time get into windows, open cpu-z and note the voltage being used. Prolly like 1.03v.

Increase this to 1.3v for now and up your bclck a lilttle.

If you have the time and patience, take photos of your bios voltage settings and I'll try and guide you thru some overclocks on that board with some suggested settings.

Wow thats a lower stock voltage than my 670. Could be a wonderful clocker on air.

Which mobo do you have? It would not be the p55M-EVO would it ?

Rogue210 03-24-2010 09:35 PM

No the ASUS P7P55-LE....slowly figuring it out..nothing like the nvidia......

My experience with ASUS boards is that if there is an "LE" at the end of the model, it will not clock well if at all.... The worst one I had was a P5Q-LE that had enough options to change, but even the slightest overclock would put the screws to the system.

Kinda scared me when EVGA started putting the "LE" on some of their boards.... :ohcrap:

Oh oh ..... Thanks for the heads up. Gonna still try to oc I don't really mind killing the board I just don't want to kill the other hardware :D
